[That's Wilson's line of thinking; right now, a curse seems the likeliest explanation. He has no symptoms beyond memory loss, and it's common knowledge that the deities can alter your mind as they please. If it's still an issue tomorrow... then he'll admit to how worried he really is. It's not that he isn't entertaining alternate theories, he's just saving them for when the most likely theory is ruled out.

He's still using his device when she calls to him, but he lowers it and glances over his shoulder as she does so. The rest of his body follows through with the motion after a moment, turning to face her as he slips the device into a coat pocket. He manages a small smile, appreciative even if he's not particularly happy with his present situation. He waits to speak until she's close enough to do so without shouting.]


I certainly hope this is a curse. There's an old man on the Network comforting me about the aging process.

[Why yes, he would rather keep this light as long as he can.]
