[The device turns on when it's set down on a desk, in an office some right recognize as belonging to Dr. Wilson. It provides a decent view of a woman as she sinks into the chair. She's clearly tired; she yawns, rubbing her temples as she leans back.

Of course, this woman is Dr. Wilson, as many people who have been working at the hospital this weekend already know. He's wearing clothes borrowed from Cameron; not a perfect fit, but certainly a good deal better than his own.

Really, this whole thing might seem worse if he hadn't spent a handful of days prior experiencing random memory failures. He glances at the clock on his wall - 6:00 PM.]

Six hours.

[And then he sighs, leans back again, and closes his eyes. This hasn't been the worst weekend of his life; certainly not the worst weekend he's spent here, but it has been long, tiring and exceptionally awkward.]

How's that new experience going for you? Have you had any revelations?

[She's still not quite sure who it is she's talking to, but she'll work it out.]

I'm not sure there's anything I'd class as quite "revelation" material. I do now know that five inches is a much larger height difference than it sounds and that I apparently make a terribly graceless woman.

...though, this might actually be more disconcerting if I'd turned out to be a graceful one.

[Wilson hasn't actually identified himself to most people this weekend; it's actually been interesting for him to see if people can figure out who he is based on mannerisms alone.]

It might just be the height difference making you graceless, but then again there are plenty of women who aren't graceful, if that makes you feel better.

[Not knowing Wilson well enough to make guesses on her own has just left her with a buzzing curiosity.]

Mostly I was just looking for any insight you might have into high heels. Unless you're taking the easy way out and using flats.

That's possible. At any rate, I think I can survive until midnight. I haven't actually fallen on my face yet.

... which is certainly not to say that I think myself ready for high heels. I did try on a pair - call it a misguided attempt to regain some of the height I lost - but I somehow doubt I could have actually gotten anything done with them on.

Then you're doing one better than me, when it comes to being a different height.

Anyway, you've only got six hours left, like you said. I think you can tough it out.

Well, there are six hours left to go. Though I wonder, if I fell and broke my nose now, whether it would still be broken when I changed back...

Not that I'm curious enough to want to find out.

I think it kind of depends. I've woken up at midnight from a curse in the wardrobe that same curse put me in, but I think that's a little bit different than actually hurting yourself.

[Accomplishment! Too bad she can't test that one.]

That, and I'd imagine that changing someone's physical form is a bit different than changing something like their mental state, surroundings or clothing.

Actually answering this would probably require far more consistency than the City ever maintains.

I don't know about that. At least, the deities don't make it seem like it's that different. But, really, I guess, the only thing that the City is consistent about is being inconsistent.

It might not be... who knows how they pull any of it off to begin with.
