I suppose I really ought to try and write this last essay, if I find the time to. Another token wouldn't hurt - well, assuming that actually using them doesn't have any horrifying side effects.

Though I think I'd need to take a different approach if I do write one. It seems like it would be a little too obvious to try to take a clinical approach to "growth" as an oncologist... and really, somehow I doubt that would come out as an exceptionally uplifting piece anyway. I think certain people have already covered the negative connotations of the word rather effectively.

[Which brings him to his actual point, his tone even more painfully conversational.]

Speaking of which, has anyone seen House? Nobody asked me to buy dinner for them, or made so much as a halfhearted attempt to take any of mine. It's a highly disconcerting experience.
