Apr. 19th, 2011 12:36 pmSo, while I'm entirely certain that there was a curse this past Sunday, I just wanted to check if someone could confirm with me what the idea behind it was.
The thing is, that it seemed - and, of course, this is entirely my own perception and that's why I wanted to check what other people thought - that certain affected citizens were sending gifts to those that they cared about. Almost as if, even if said individual is typically… well, slightly unwilling to admit that they care about anyone at all, this curse drove them to express their feelings for others through delivering some admittedly nice gifts.

… but, of course, I wouldn't want to make any incorrect assumptions. I just wanted to check if that perception on my part seemed accurate.
At any rate, it was a very nice gesture - I have to say, really, it's quite touching.
