Seems as if our resident deities are out to prove something...
Please, for anyone who this is at all possible for, stay inside. I'm sure everyone is aware of the fact that there's an issue with the water by now; as a result, a number of creatures that would ordinarily stay in or near the water are now on land and in the City.
Among those are a rapidly growing number of insects, and it's extremely likely that they're carrying any number of diseases. If you have been bitten, or ingested the affected water, and you're starting to display any symptoms... let a doctor, or anyone you know at the hospital or clinic, know. We'll do what we can to help you get treatment safely.

I'm operating under the assumption that whatever was once water is now blood; I don't suppose anyone's tested a sample of it yet?
I have some personal suspicions as to what this may be about; it's a little hard to ignore the similarities to a certain story I've starved through more than a few times, especially given the timing. If there's anything to that theory, things are going to get much worse.
[ooc: Assume this was a little later, closer to sundown when the bugs would be coming into the City. I just had to post before leaving work. Will be backtagging; I have my own retelling of this story to go starve through <3]
