No. I thought... perhaps they were just words, cruel jokes, someone who belittles others. But he... was very pleased to learn where I have been staying. I saw it on his face.

We do have our share of those among the population, but I don't get the feeling that you're being too sensitive. And caution is never ill-advised.

A campsite - or a car - really isn't the safest or most secure place to be, even if there isn't someone you feel specifically threatened by. Is there anyone you trust in the City, that you wouldn't mind staying with?
