[17th consult; voice]

[Wilson's voice is notably weaker than it was in his previous entry.]

In hospital. No improvement... definitely related to the outbreak...

Headache, joint and back pain, nausea, vomiting, fever, red eye, nosebleeds.

It's... not one of the usual infections...

And a sudden compulsion to dictate the whiteboard. It must be serious.

House hasn't got any ideas?

Did Doctor House examine your body for tick or flea bites?

(ooc; CCHF, right?).

[identity profile] holymadonna.livejournal.com 2009-06-20 06:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Do you have the tick, Doctor Wilson? I want to analyze it. No rash certainly rules out most of the normal diseases, there are options left...

(ooc; *WINZ*).

Oh goodness, I'll wait for the laboratory results to be more certain.

What do they say? It isn't bacterial, is it?

(ooc; *REMOVES that from latest post XD*).

It can't be a toxin. Viral, then? Virus isolation attempts would help to determine the source.

I am sure he is doing a good job.

Do take care. I can't think of any illness that encompasses all of those symptoms and might effect a number of people simultaneously, but I'm no doctor. Typhus, perhaps? That would make sense, what with the number of parasites about. I suppose it could be Lyme disease or spotted fever or something along those lines...

I certainly hope your condition improves soon, regardless.

[identity profile] somekindofsin.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 12:50 am (UTC)(link)
Of course! May I recommend resting rather than typing, though?

[identity profile] somekindofsin.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
True enough. Carry on, then!

I suppose so. I haven't met all that many ill doctors, but you certainly lend the statement credibility. Given the foul mood of one of your colleagues, however, I imagine the temptation to misbehave is overwhelming.

As dull as it is, being conscious is a good sign, isn't it?

Is that his name? He's absolutely terrifying. I hope you'll be well enough to make his life difficult before too long.

[identity profile] somekindofsin.livejournal.com 2009-06-21 09:23 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll join you in that hope.

You're a good man.

Hands off the whiteboard. I'll do the writing. You keep showing symptoms. You should know the order of things by now. Maybe forgetfulness should be up too.
