I have to admit, the timing on this type of day coming around almost makes too much sense for the City. It's even almost comforting, given how regularly these occur... though, it might be too much to hope for that this beginning of a return to... well, I'll never be able to call it normalcy, but perhaps... more routine impossibilities?
Oh-- if you've just arrived, try not to take it personally if some of the populace is a bit... well, short with you. You could say it's been a long week.

You're going to make an amazing mother, you know.

I hope so. I mean, I really do, complications aside.

What kind of complications?

Leber congenital amaurosis. We're both carriers, so there's that twenty-five percent chance the baby can be blind. I already asked House about potential treatments out of desperation, but of course he started talking about eyepatches and carrots.

As far as treatments go, if it turns out you need to be worried about it at all, everything I know of is in experimental phases. You're from a few years ahead now, though, so you'd be able to find out easier than I would if there have been promising results.

Well, there aren't any yet in my world, but I figured I'd cover all my bases in other worlds too, just in case.

If you ask me, though, no matter which way this goes, your child's going to be just fine, because their mother already cares this much about their wellbeing. If that one-in-four chance somehow beats the odds and wins out, that child's going to be very lucky to have you.

And that's how I know that no matter what happens, you'll be fine. All of you.
[Hmm. And now he's wondering if it would possible for her to take something back with her. Because, really, new babies need gifts, right? He thinks so.]
Re: video; private
Ill hold you to that.
