[Wilson knows what's going on today, but that doesn't stop him from going in to work. So he moves as swiftly as he can through the streets on his way both to and from the hospital, knowing all too well that even that probably won't keep him entirely out of the line of fire kisses.

Still, it'll probably manage to cut back on the kisses he receives in transit. And at work-- well, there's only so much he can do. He does need to be there, after all, and he's not about to turn his back on a responsibility.]

[That gets another laugh out of her.] Or my giant bag full of marbles. [Has Dr. Wilson always looked so warm and handsome? Her fingers slide up his arm slowly. It's a nice coat. Good fabric. Good shoulder too. She'll just tuck her arm back here behind his neck for safe keeping, okay?]

[That somewhat dreamy smile just rests on his face, and he lets his neck move forward a bit as she places her hand behind it. One of his hands moves to rest on her side, and as he continues to move closer, he's almost aware that something terribly wrong is happening, but... not quite actually aware.]

[Oh, is this not how this is usually done when running into a friend on the street? Well, maybe it should be, because that dreamy smile of his looks good enough to taste. Her eyes close as she feels them both getting close.]

[His eyes shut as well as he closes the distance between them, perfectly happy under the curse's influence to permit that taste. Whatever part of his brain thought there was an issue with this has clearly relented.]

[Maybe that part of his brain will feel the tiniest bit better to know that being in the City this long means she's no longer jailbait. Not that there were rules to restrict that for her where she was from originally.

Her own thoughts rested firmly on the kiss itself. Sweet and lingering.]

[Yeah... that will help, immediately after he freaks out because he's how old and she's how old and really, it's hard not to feel like a dirty old man.

Eventually, anyway. Not now, because now his cursed mind is focused on delivering that sweet, lingering kiss - it's very important to make sure it lasts for just the right amount of time, you know, and that it's just the precise amount of pressure.]

[This really is just the perfect amount of everything. She's entirely pleased when she pulls back. At least for a moment before blinking slowly at him, registering what just happened again.]

[Oh god. When he pulls back and slowly regains some control over himself, his jaw goes slack, eyes widen, and his arms are gesturing some manner of not-entirely-coordinated emphasis as he stammers into an apology.]

I-- I am so... so sorry, I didn't-- [sigh. stop. process. and now, with due annoyance:] Curse.

[Oh, that's not a flattering response. She looks at him a little cautiously.]

I know. It's all right.

[And then he softens, getting his arms still and down at his sides.]

Sorry, it's... [and he smiles, gently] ...not you. At all. I promise.

[It's just the dirty old man vibe crawling on him.]

[She manages a soft smile at him, wanting to reassure him, though she's not entirely sure what's wrong.]

Are you seeing someone? [Maybe she would be mad?]

[The smile lingers a bit as he shakes his head, now a bit rueful.]

No-- no, I just... I can't help but feel guilty about this one, even if it is a curse.

You don't think it was my first, do you? [A little questioning and a little teasing.]

No. I just think I'm slightly past the age where I can kiss a girl your age and not feel a little odd about it.

[Which is as close he's going to get to saying "I'm old."]

[She laughs softly.] Is that what you're worried about?

I think a girl my age could do much worse than to kiss you.
